I can perfectly recall the day, when working in a HR department, that I faced up to the challenge of obtaining and keeping the best employees. From asking myself the question “why do people leave?”I quickly turned it on its head and began searching for an answer to the question “why do they stay?”
I have always been interested in explaining the phenomena of peoples’ behavior and basing my business decisions on reliable data. Research is my passion but it is business and the people working there who supply me with research questions and inspire me to raise my scientific standards.
I carry out scientific research on employee loyalty. Taking advantage of co-operation with the business world, I am writing my doctoral thesis in the field of the humanities at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
